Well Hello 230's.....

OK great. Now that, that's out of the way I can get to the part where I talk about myself.....lol

HELLOOOOOOOOO 230's!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes I know, welcome to Bonnie's world, where everything is loud and obnoxious......

Sorry I can't help it, I cannot remember the last time I seen a 30 anything on my scale. So what if I just squeaked by, it still counts in my book (which is law btw). Here is the picture proof.....lol

AND THIS WAS DONE IN ONE WEEK!!!!!!!!

Was it water weight....probably, but I will take what I can get. After all I did bust my ass this week. So I lost a total of 8.6 lbs this week, but I'm really only looking at it as a 0.4 lbs loss, from my lowest weight of 240 lbs. I think that's fair.

Now speaking about this week, I am going to share some pics with you.

Starting the list will be the storm of 2011 for us, it was pretty serious. I thought for sure we were gonna have a tornado. The sky was orange/red, it was really weird. The power went out for over 6 hours.

During this time my son decided he wanted to pull out his first tooth. He proceeded to do so with a flashlight aimed at his face. We then had to scramble to get money for the tooth fairy as we had no cash on us, the power was out in the city so all the ATM's were down, and no offence but I wasn't leaving the house in search of money during a tornado. We managed to get $10 but I really wanted to give him $20 for his first tooth.
After we tucked Adam into bed, Dan and I went and cracked a bottle of Pinot, grabbed some lawn chairs and sat in the garage to watch the storm.....Pretty daring aren't we?.....lol

Next on the list would be water day.....Since we don't have a pool and it was super hot outside we thought it would be fun to get out the sprinkler, fill up some water balloons and get out the water guns.
Little did I know that the torpedo water balloons that we purchased "when filled" look like dog's penis'. You know when you look down and see the red thing out....Friends of mine call it lipstick....hahahahaha...sorry I am seriously laughing out loud as I am typing this.

Continuing with this list would be POPCHIPS......Has anyone tried these??? Holy cow are they great, and low fat too!!!.....I grabbed a bag of Sour Cream & Onion and a bag of BBQ.....by far my favourite are the BBQ, but the other was great too, even hubby liked them. I definitely recommend getting these if your a salt fanatic like I am......

And last but not least is Adam's swimming lessons. He started these on Monday and they are Mon-Fri for the whole month of July. We started him off with lessons at 3 months of age till he was about 2 1/2. Then something happened, but we aren't sure what. He was absolutely terrified to go near the water, and we had to pull him out of swimming. Well he just turned 6 so we thought we would try it again. So far so good!

1. If you were asked to symbolize yourself as an animal – which animal would you be?

I would be a peacock. Now before you laugh let me explain. I like to walk around, being pretty and strutting my stuff. Then before you know it "BAM" my feathers open up like a surprise and show you my real colours. I'm not just a pretty face. I have an attitude when need be, and I can throw down just like the boys....so don't mess with me!

2. Did you ever play an organized sport – with coaches, rules and scoring? Tell us about it.

I was a baseball player, and I was actually really good. I played on an All Star team as well. It was my passion from ages 10-17....then clothes, shoes and penises got in the way. 

I then met my hubby and the rest is history. I miss it dearly, I'm not gonna lie. I have played it once in the last couple of years. One of the things I am looking forward to on this weight loss adventure is playing sports again. Maybe I will join a bar league or something just for shits and giggles.

3. When did you start shaving your legs?

I believe I was around 11 or 12. That's when you start to get more self conscious about yourself (and start noticing boys more) I was a tomboy, but yet feminine at the same time. I used my fathers razor one day when I took a shower. I was so proud of myself but when I told my mom what I did, she lost it. I got the whole "WHY DID YOU DO THAT? NOW IT'S GOING TO GROW BACK THICKER AND DARKER AND YOUR GOING TO HAVE TO SHAVE THEM FROM NOW ON." She also promised not to tell my father that I used his razor cause I probably would have got beat for that.....lol

4. When you’re in a crabby – pissy – want to stab everyone you see kind of mood – what do you do to get out of it or do you revel in it?

This question is a tough one because you guys are gonna think I'm a total bitch. When I am in a pissy mood, that's it.....deal with it or stay out of my way. I usually will be like that for the rest of the day and it takes me to sleep it off to go away. I don't go looking for something to make me happy or take my mind off of it. I try not to be miserable too much now-a-days though....I'm trying to be more positive especially now during my lifestyle change (which can sure make a person miserable)

5. Repeat question: Summarize your week in blogland and in real life.

Blogland has been better. I have found a few new sites, and I also gained 6 followers...yayyyy me.
I am still working on my food blog Bonnie's Bites and posted a cold pasta salad recipe that I love!
I also joined a weight loss challenge called Back to Basics that I am hoping puts me into a new groove. I wrote a post about it here.

Real Life hasn't been too exciting. Except that I stepped on the scale this morning and it said 239.....DID YOU HEAR WHAT I SAID!!!!.....yes people I have finally made it into the 230's even if I just squeaked by. Now my official weigh in is on Sunday morning for the challenge so I am hoping it stays around there. Last week my weigh in was 248 so I think I kicked some ass this week. My lowest weight was 2 weeks ago at exactly 240. Hey at least it back heading in the right direction!

Back to Basics Challenge

So last Sunday I decided to join in a challenge. I like challenges, they hold me accountable, and I am VERY competitive so it just makes me want it that much more.

It was $10 to join in the challenge and there are 3 prizes to be won at the end. Hey you never know right?  I might not win, but if it only takes $10 bucks to keep me highly motivated I think that's a great trade off.

I had to send in picture proof of my weigh in on Sunday. I wasn't happy about this since I had gained 8 lbs since my last weigh in.....how I gained that in a week and a bit  I'll never know, but I am happy to say that as of this morning my un-official weight is down those 8 lbs.....I have been busting my butt this week to get rid of that.....

There are also supposed to be mini challenges posted throughout the competition, so I will keep you updated on those as well. The reward for completing those are going to be buttons for our blogs designed by Jenny.

Welcome to my weekly blog installment called Mental Monday's. A day for me to bitch about something without putting it into my regular posts. You are warned. These posts I don't hold back, and sometimes involves a lot of swearing.

This weeks theme is focused around SEX...yes I said it, and no it's not taboo....

1. Virginity for an iPhone: Let me get this straight, you are offering up the most precious thing that you possess for a fucking phone? You are a whore, there is no other words for this stupidity. The girl tweeted a photo of  herself along with some basic info, letting everyone know she would give her virginity to anyone that buys her an iPhone 4, cause her daddy wouldn't let her get one. I wonder what she would do for a iPhone 5???? Give up her first born???

2. Apple flavoured Horse Semen: Yes I said semen, this blows my fucking mind. Bexstar are you aware of this going down in your country? A pub in Wellington, New Zealand, has caused quite a stir after it decided to serve apple-flavored horse semen shots to its customers for $25. The fact here is if your paying for cum you have some serious issues. I try to avoid having this in my mouth at all costs let alone showing up to a bar looking for it on purpose.

Fell off the Wagon

This is probably the hardest post I have had to write since February since I have yet to "fall off the wagon" or relapse as some people like to call it. Well it's finally happened.

This week I was on vacation and I pretty much ate everything and anything I wanted. I could have ate well, and had the shitty stuff in moderation but I didn't. I had kettle corn, twix, reeses peanut butter cups, lots of carbs (potato salad, pasta salad) hot dogs on buns, fast food, ice cream sandwiches, bottle of wine.......you name it, I ate it.

Do I feel guilty?
Hell ya I do.
Does it change anything?
Only what it says on the scale.

Yes I put on some weight this week and I'm definitely not happy about it. This doesn't change anything though, I just have to suck it up and get that extra weight off, and then get back on my adventure.
Hey at least it took me 4 months for this to happen and not right away. It could be worse.

I am not going to taint my blog with a horrible weigh in and pic, but to be honest with my readers it's about a 6lbs gain. That puts me back about 3 weeks worth of work. I'm sure most of it is water weight as I know for a fact I didn't eat THAT many calories. Still it is kinda shitty, but I did it to myself and I will take full responsibility for it.

Now that, that is out of the way let's get onto some happier topics, like what I did on my vacation with my family.

Canada Day Parade

Those are just some of the highlights of the parade, but the funniest thing happened while I was there and I want to share it with you. If you are a regular reader of my blog you are familiar with my "Mental Monday" posts. Last Monday I posted about car eyelashes, and how I thought they were ridiculous. Well as I was sitting during the parade watching one of the floats go by, this random lady handed me this flyer:

I just about fell off my chair.....I was fucking dying, I was laughing so hard. I cannot believe this is in my city, and to boot there is new "crystal eyeliner" to accentuate your lashes that you can get.

This definitely had to be funniest moment I have had in a long time.
