Now on to the regularly scheduled program brought to you by me, myself and I......

Let's start off with my Couch to 5k program.....

I must say I am kicking some serious ass, but pushing hard none the less. It's tough especially when you have never ran before, and your carrying a hell of a lot of extra weight. I would think I would like running more when I weighed less.

Here is a look at what I did yesterday, and what is coming up on Monday (I'm scared)

By doing these runs though I am burning some MAJOR calories, and I'm running in the morning (7am to be exact) so this helps my metabolism stay active throughout the day

And if that's not enough, when I'm done running I'm also doing an ab workout that does 240 crunches in 8 minutes (30 crunches X 8 different positions)
Now I have this program on my iPhone (free app) and I just start the video and lay my phone next to me to hear the timing. It took me three sessions to remember which position comes next. I don't even have to look anymore. The first couple times I did this I was dying but now I actually like it.....even my 6 year old lays on the floor next to me from time to time doing it.....lol
Here is the exact program on You Tube if your interested......you do it 3 days a week with a day rest in between.

Next on my list and totally off topic is Billy the Exterminator. Has anyone seen this show on A&E?
While I was in bed on meds for my Hiatal Hernia there was a Billy Marathon on. Damn if I didn't watch 8 hours of this shit......it was hilarious.
It is basically a show about this family that owns an extermination business (Vex Con) but they aren't your normal looking family. Now I hate bugs, rats, snakes, etc just like most of the human race, but not only does Billy take care of the "problem" but he also loves the earth and only uses natural ingredients to exterminate or catch the critters. He's got my vote.....

I also wanted to share with you a picture I took while driving back from my Doc's appointment. I was sitting at a red light just looking around when I noticed this......

Now I have no idea what language this is, but I think it's supposed to say Special???
The fact that you are running a convenience store with "spicails" all the time, you think you would know how to spell this by now......Needless to say I was laughing so hard the car behind me honked cause the light was green.

NSV TIME PEOPLE!!!!!!

I would like to report a new NSV for me this week. Heels, yes that's right. I can wear heels now for more than 5 minutes without complaining. Now for those who know me know that I have over 100 pairs of shoes. Well 85% of them I haven't worn in a dog's age cause of my weight. Well this past Sunday I rocked a pair of hot heels and didn't complain (or take them off) once!!!
Oh and I bought my first pair of 18 jeans.......yippie!!!!

Ok now that I have talked your ear off about everything other than my weight, here we go.....

This weeks weigh in is 232.6 lbs. Terrible.....a loss....but terrible. To be fair my weight was 232.8 last Saturday, by Monday I was 238 lbs.....not sure why but I busted my ass this week to get back to where I started or less. I know I worked hard, ate well, and drank copious amounts of water, and that's all that matters. I did lose 2" off my thighs though which is a huge plus in my book.

In total I have lost 50.4 lbs, 17.74% of body fat and my BMI went from 47.7 to 37.6.

Have a great week everyone!!!!!!

  4. Thanks for sharing this ab program. I always love trying new routines. I've also got a "standing" abs program that I'd like to try. (Though, I do like the fact that I get to lay down while exercising once in a while! haha)

If you want to get rid of any shoes...I'm a size 7.5-8. Just saying. ;)

Hot shoes momma, and congrats on the smaller jeans! Werk it!

  5. WOOHOO Twin! I'm so proud of you for you C25K! That is freaking amazing. I start week 3 on Monday and am feeling a bit daunted by the 3 min run that's coming but I'm just going to push it. I absolutely love love those hot heels. They are smokin. I would love to wear heels, but I don't really know they are in my future due to my hubby being the same height as me.
Hey - a loss is a loss girl, you're probably building muscle through your running.

    Have a great weekend!
